2019 Swimming carnival

SCHS annual swimming carnival @Ripples St Marys, Friday 15^th February 2019.

Cost of entry: $10.00 total, $5 for the bus to be paid when boarding and $5 for pool entry @Ripples.

 What to bring

Recess, lunch, plenty of water and sun block. There is a canteen open at Ripples on the day. In anticipation of warm weather, all students should wear a large brim hat and regularly apply sunscreen throughout the day.

All students will be competing in house groups. These are organised according to your child’s surname. They are encouraged to wear the house colours and participate in as many events as possible.

Freeman (green) E-K

Ponting (red) L-Q

Thorpe (yellow) R-Z

All events are a minimum distance of 50 metres; therefore, your child must be able to swim that distance proficiently before entering and participating in any event.
