Co-curricular activities

Mathematics

This year the mathematics faculty initiated "maths club" which is held every Tuesday after school. Students who need extra assistance with their maths work are encouraged to attend. If you would like your child to participate please speak to a member of the maths faculty.

Mathematics competitions are held twice a year and students are encouraged to enter and compete. Students will be notified of the dates via the school notices and the Facebook page.

English

The English faculty provides a range of extra-curricula activities for students to develop their communication skills and engage in the arts. Debating club runs every second Monday and provides students with the opportunity to develop their public speaking and argumentative skills. Throughout the year there are also opportunities for students to be involved in spoken poetry workshops and writing competitions. The English faculty also organise both excursions and incursions for students to view dramatic performances such as Shakespearean plays and texts that they may be studying in class.
